Administration

Hallie Anderson:

We are excited to welcome Hallie Anderson as our new Administrator starting January 2025! Since July 2022, Hallie has been a dedicated RN, demonstrating exceptional commitment and compassion in her role. Her proactive approach and willingness to jump in and assist whenever needed make her a valuable addition to our team. Outside of work, Hallie enjoys spending quality time with her family and two dogs, as well as exploring new vacation destinations and embracing the outdoors. We enjoy her leadership and the positive impact she brings to our facility . 

Angela Montag:

We are pleased to welcome Angie Montag to our team starting October 2024! Angie brings a wealth of experience in management and is serving as our Business Office Manager, Administrative Assistant, and HR coordinator. Her dedication and versatile expertise are invaluable assets to our facility. Angie is always willing to assist with any questions you may have and consistently goes above and beyond to support our team. Outside of work, she enjoys quality time with her family, as well as relaxing moments with her beloved cat and dog. 

Nursing:

Heather Goche:

Heather Goche serves as the Director of Nursing at Lakeside and brings 29 years of experience as a Registered Nurse. Throughout her career, she has worked in a variety of nursing specialties, but her true passion has always been long-term care. Heather has a deep love and respect for the elderly, and she finds great fulfillment in caring for and advocating for this population.

Heather is married and the proud mother of four children, as well as two stepchildren. When she's not busy leading her nursing team, she enjoys spending time with her family, especially attending her children's activities and events. If she finds a little free time, you'll likely find her on the golf course.

A devoted fan of the Iowa Hawkeyes, Heather is known for her positive attitude and great sense of humor. She is always up for a good joke and believes that laughter is an important part of life.

Heather's dedication to nursing, her compassion for others, and her ability to bring joy to those around her make her an invaluable leader and member of the Lakeside family.

Alissa Simington:

Alissa is our dedicated Quality Assurance Nurse, having joined our team in January 2025. We feel very fortunate to have her onboard. She has been a registered nurse since 2018 and consistently demonstrates a proactive and helpful attitude, always willing to assist wherever she's needed. Outside of work, Alissa enjoys spending quality time with her family and loves taking walks with her dogs. 

Social Services:

Lisa McEwen:

Lisa McEwen, our Social Service Director, joined our team in September 2022. Holding a Master's degree in Mental Health and Psychology, Lisa brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our residents. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family and, when the weather permits, fishing. Lisa is a valuable asset to our community, consistently demonstrating her commitment to our residents, whether by accompanying them to appointments or assisting on the floor. 

Activities:

Jill Hoch:

In May 2026 we welcomed Jill Hoch to Lakeside to our team as our new National Certified Activity Director. She brings 6 years of experience to the position. She is excited to step in this role and looks forward to enhancing the Activity department. In her free time, she loves to take road trips with her husband and be grandma. She has one daughter who teaches in Ames and two stepdaughters one works for Iowa state, and the other one is an EMS. A little fun fact about Jill is that she is in love with hedgehogs. If you have any questions or would like to volunteer in the activities dept please reach out to Jill. We are thrilled to have her part of the team and look forward to her impact on the lives of the residents and staff. 

Maintenance:

Jesus Lara:

We are pleased to welcome Jesse to our team! He joined us in August 2024 as our maintenance technician and brings over ten years of maintenance experience. His extensive knowledge and expertise in facility maintenance are truly valuable assets to our team. Outside of work, Jesse enjoys fishing on his boat, camping, and spending quality time with his family. We are grateful to have him at Lakeside and Grace Estates.

Assisted Living:

Margaret Nelson:

We are delighted to welcome Margaret Nelson to our outstanding team as our new Assisted Living Manager. Margaret was born and raised in Estherville, Iowa, bringing a warm, hometown spirit to our community. She has been a licensed RN since 1995, demonstrating her dedication and expertise in healthcare.

Margaret is happily married to Terry, and together they share their home with two Mini Australian Shepherds and two cats. During the summer months, she enjoys boating, motorcycle rides, and spending time outdoors on walks, embracing the beauty of nature.

We are excited to have Margaret on board and look forward to the positive impact she will bring to our tenants and team!
