October 2025 Newsletter

This past month has been filled with laughter, new adventures, and unforgettable memories! Residents and staff alike enjoyed trying out several new activities, but the highlight for everyone was the delightful pie-making event-and the hilarious pie-in-the-face surprises that followed! Pictures can be seen on our Facebook page. The smiles, giggles, and shared moments truly brought everyone closer.

We also fulfilled some residents' wishes by taking a fun trip to the Clay County Fair, adding even more excitement to our month. We're so proud of the joyful spirit that shines through in everything we do. We can't wait to see what new adventures and joyful memories the coming months will bring. Here's to more fun, laughter, and making wonderful memories together!

Congratulations to Brooke Berger. Sonia is a CMA and CNA here at lakeside. Her huge heart shines through in her compassionate care. She consistently provides genuine, heartfelt support to those she cares for. Brooke's willingness to step in and help her coworkers whenever needed makes a real difference at our facility. Thank you for all that you do!

What to anticipate in 2025

Our new Activity Director, Katie, has been actively working to enhance our programming and provide a wider variety of activities for all our residents. As a facility, we are committed to creating engaging experiences that cater to diverse interests and preferences to ensure that every resident can find something enjoyable to participate in. Grace Estates

Grace Estates would like to invite you to their open house on Wednesday October 22, 2025 from 4pm - 7pm. There will be a bake sale, chili cook off, and we will draw the winners for the raffle of the TV, Laptop and DeWalt drill kit. And of course tour the Assisted Living facility.

Contact Lakeside if you would like to buy raffle tickets, donate some baked goods, or enter the chili contest.

We currently have 3 available apartments in Grace Estates. If you or someone you know is seeking a comfortable, supportive environment with a little extra assistance, we'd love to help!
